KP in the Community exists to make sport a foundation for opportunity, growth, and lasting impact.
Our mission is to create widespread access to quality sports programmes, with a focus on talent identification, character development, and inclusive participation — starting in schools and reaching deep into local communities across the UK.
We are committed to:
Spotting and nurturing talent in every UK school, especially where it’s often overlooked
Encouraging participation for all, regardless of background, ability, or gender
Building strong character, leadership, and life skills through sport
Supporting mental wellbeing and personal development in a safe, structured environment
Creating pathways into education, employment, and elite sport for those with potential.

Our Story
KP in the Community was founded on the belief that every young person deserves a real opportunity to succeed — not just in sport, but in life.
Founded by Kishan Prince, who grew up in Battersea, the organisation was born from firsthand experience of the gaps in access and opportunity. Despite a wealth of raw talent in his community, many young people — especially those in sport — were overlooked, unsupported, and left without direction.
Kishan’s journey took him across the world, playing football in Australia, Spain, and England, before returning home to focus on making a real difference. After completing a university course in community development, he became a Community Sports Officer, delivering outreach programmes for over 7 years across London and Manchester.
Through KP in the Community, Kishan and the team are using sport as a foundation — alongside mental health support, and clear pathways to education and employment — to bridge the gap for young people. We aim to provide hope where it often feels lost, and to build a future where every young person can see their potential and reach it.
